Even the ligurians have their breadsticks, though less famous than their namesakes in Turin, and are called scallops.
Prepare by mixing 00 flour, water, olive oil, yeast and salt.
Cook twice for better biscottarli.
Are dry and crumbly, ring-shaped, similar to pretzels.
Are prepared traditionally in Taggia, but are packaged in other surrounding areas.
They are excellent eating and meals.
