Hot brandy flip
Instructions
Stir the egg yolk with sugar until frothy.
Pour the coffee in a saucepan and add the cognac and port.
Heat slowly, stirring continuously.
Before coming to the boil pour the whole thing slowly on egg yolks, stirring quickly with the whip in order to obtain a homogeneous compound.
Heat a cup with handle and pour in the mixture.
Sprinkle with nutmeg before serving.
Ingredients and dosing for 1 person
- 1 egg yolk
- Powdered sugar
- 20 cl of strong coffee
- 6 cl of cognac
- 10 cl of porto wine
- To serve:
- Nutmeg
