Hangman liquor
Instructions
Take an airtight vessel with a capacity of 200 cl and get brandy and sugar.
Wash the oranges well under running water, dry it and move from side to side with a sturdy wire so that it protrudes from both ends thoroughly.
Attach the string to the lid of the pot; the Orange will remain suspended on spirits but without touching it.
Close and expose to the Sun for 2 months or kept in a warm, dry place.
You will see the Orange harden and gradually wither away, until it becomes dry.
At this point, the liqueur is ready.
Mix in PEAR brandy and bottled.
Leave to rest for one month prior to sampling.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 100 cl of aquavit to 40 degrees
- 400 g of sugar
- 1 orange
- 1 g of cinnamon
- 1 dram of pear brandy
