Braised beef with mushrooms
Instructions
Cut the bacon into small cubes.
Wash the onion, then wash and scrape carrots.
Cut onion, carrots and celery into small pieces.
In a saucepan melt butter and 30 g of soffriggetevi vegetables with bacon.
Add the meat and brown evenly on all sides.
Sprinkle with the wine and let evaporate.
Add the nut, tomato paste and two ladles of boiling water.
Put the lid on and simmer over low heat for 50 minutes.
Clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth and then cut into slices.
Add them to the meat, add salt, pepper and continue cooking for another thirty minutes.
In a saucepan melt the butter with the remaining chives.
Remove the meat from the pot and affettatela.
Transfer the slices to a serving dish, cover with the mushroom sauce and sprinkled with spiced butter.
Serve immediately.
Suggested wine: Chianti.
