Maryland crab cakes
Instructions
Melt the butter in a large skillet and add the onions.
Let them skip for about 3 minutes, until it becomes dark.
Remove the Pan from the heat and sprinkle in breadcrumbs and crab meat.
Meanwhile, in a bowl, pour in the beaten eggs, salt, mustard and Worcestershire sauce, and stir well.
Add the mixture to the crab meat, mix well and formed the croquettes (about 20).
Put them in flour.
In a skillet heat the oil, fairies and when is hot fry the Crab Croquettes for about 3 minutes, until they are golden brown.
Serve with lemon slices.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 60 g of butter
- 1 1/2 of chopped onion
- 200 g of breadcrumbs
- 650 g of crab meat
- 4 beaten eggs
- Salt
- 1 teaspoon of powdered mustard
- 1 teaspoon of worcestershire sauce
- 3 tablespoons of cream
- 100 g of flour
- Frying oil
- 1 lemon
