Fancy Apples (Mele Fantasia)
Instructions
Cut the apples and scavatela CAP by removing the core part of the pulp.
Cut the flesh into cubes, then drizzle with lemon juice and put it in a cool place.
Cut the pineapple into cubes and celery.
Gather the ingredients in a bowl and season with acidified cream with a few drops of lemon, add salt and add the red pepper.
Fill apples and keep them in a cool place.
When serving arrange on a serving dish, arrange on each Apple a walnut kernel and decorated with some fresh leaves of Belgian Endive.
For this dish ideal are not overripe apples, slightly acidic.
And to accentuate this feature can replace the cream with the same amount of yoghurt.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 4 golden apples
- 200 g of diced cooked ham
- 2 ribs celery of tender
- 1 head of witlof (endive)
- 4 slices of pineapple
- 4 walnut kernels
- 1/2 lemon
- 1/2 cup of cream
- Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of pink pepper in brine
