Minestra di farro
Instructions
Drain the beans and toss.
Saute in oil smells, chopped ham and spices.
Season with salt and pepper.
Add the tomato and cook for 15 minutes.
Pass the gravy and add the beans, a little warm water and spelt.
Bake for 40 minutes, adding more hot water and serve with a drizzle of olive oil.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 200 g of spelt
- 450 g of canned beans
- 1/2 onion
- 1/2 costa of celery
- 4 leaves sage
- 10 leaflets of marjoram
- 1 sprig of rosemary
- 1 pinch of spices (nutmeg, cinnamon)
- 100 g of ham cut into cubes
- 150 g of tomato
- Olive oil
- Salt
- Pepper
