Baklavas
Instructions
Stir the walnuts, almonds, cloves and cinnamon.
Melt the butter and grease rectangular Pan where you will put the pastry to be pulled until it becomes very thin.
From 500 g of pasta you get at least 10 sheets.
Put them on top of one another in the 3 sheets and baking the stuffing.
Continue until the filling.
Cover with two layers of puff pastry and rolled up edges.
Cut the baklava, pour the rest of the butter and cook in the oven at 200 degrees already warm up to make the dough a nice golden color.
Meanwhile, put the ingredients for the syrup in a saucepan and simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes.
Once ready pour it on hot baklava, just removed from the oven.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 500 g of puff pastry (phyllo dough)
- 300 g of almonds
- 300 g of chopped walnuts
- 1 tablespoon of cinnamon powder
- 1 teaspoon of cloves minced
- 150 g of butter
- For the syrup:
- 450 g of sugar
- 30 cl of water
- 75 g of honey
- 2 teaspoons of lemon juice
- Vanilla essence
