Mix the butter with the sugar, cocoa and eggs.
Incorporate the mixture the flour, baking powder and rum.
Let stand for 30 minutes, then roll out the dough to a thickness of 1/2 cm and cut it into strips; 1 shrieked at a time, fry them in hot oil, drain excess grease on absorbent kitchen paper and sprinkle with granulated sugar.
