Open the oysters with a special knife only when serving.
Cover the bottom of a serving platter with a layer of crushed ice, you have on this the oysters in their half shells and circondatele with lemon wedges.
Whoever wants to can finishes season them with some lemon drops, but should be eaten in their natural state with a slice of bread spread with a thin layer of butter.
