Pain d ' épices
Instructions
Heat the honey in slowly so that it becomes liquid (do not, however, take a boil).
Add the Marmalade and mix well until all the mixture is hot.
Put in a bowl the flour sifted with the baking powder, then add a pinch of salt, spices, oil and milk.
Stir and add the mixture of honey and jam, then pour everything into a mold by tall, rectangular type cake, lined with buttered parchment paper.
Put in the oven at 160 degrees for an hour and a half.
Let cool the cake in the Pan and let rest one day before using it.
The pain d ' épices, great for a hearty breakfast, you can enjoy, so simple, or coated with a light layer of butter.
For the package-gift can be nice to allow candied fruit.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 250 g of honey
- 250 g of marmalade
- 250 g of white flour
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 10 cl of milk
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- Nice 1 pizzicone of cinnamon powder
- 1 pinch of ginger powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- For the mold:
- Butter
