Pancakes with walnuts, cheese and apples
Instructions
Sift the two types of flour, baking powder and 1 teaspoon salt in a medium-sized bowl.
Add the eggs, butter and milk and beat the mixture until it is creamy and smooth.
Add salt and pepper.
Heat a griddle or a lightly oiled pans for crepes and pour 4 tablespoons of batter evenly distributes it.
Cook one side until bubbles that are formed in the batter will harden.
Reshot with a spatula and cook the other side until it is golden.
Continue until the exhaustion of the batter, gradually placing in the hot oven discs thus obtained.
With the doses indicated you should get 12 discs, with which you can create 4 pancakes.
Place a disc onto a serving platter and cover with a layer of apples, nuts and cheese.
Add 2 tablespoons of honey and cover with another disk.
Repeat the procedure.
Cover with a third disc that you will decorate with cheese and walnuts.

- 200 g of white flour
- 150 g of wholemeal flour
- 2 teaspoons of baking powder
- 2 large eggs lightly beaten
- 4 tablespoons of melted butter
- 37 cl of milk
- 2 apples granny smith without core, thinly sliced
- 150 g of pecorino romano cheese, thinly sliced
- 16 tablespoons of honey declined
- 125 g of shelled walnuts toasted lightly
- Salt
- Freshly ground black pepper
