Polenta with meat sauce
Instructions
In a pan heat two tablespoons of oil with a bit of butter and insaporitevi the onion, carrot and celery, chopped; When they have browned add the minced meat.
Add salt and pepper and let stand for a few minutes.
Then add the elongated tomato sauce with a little warm water and cook for about an hour over low heat, adding water if necessary.
Meanwhile prepare the polenta.
When ready pour into a mold and wet doughnut pan of cold water.
Let stand for 2-3 minutes and then turn the form on the serving dish.
In the Middle you have the hot meat sauce and serve with grated cheese.
Accompanying wines: Oltrepò Pavese Bonarda "Bubbly" DOC, Rosso Piceno DOC, Solopaca Rosso DOC.
