Pickled plums
Instructions
Wash the plums and puncture the batteries with a needle.
Bring to slow boil vinegar with sugar, cloves, lemon peel and cinnamon.
Add the prunes and cook them slowly until they begin to wrinkle.
Extract and boil the liquid for another 20 minutes, add the prunes and, after a few minutes, pour into glass jars, allow to cool, then seal.
Is accompanied by cold meat or pork.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 3000 g of ripe plums
- 100 cl of wine vinegar
- 1000 g of sugar
- 4 cloves
- 1/2 stick of cinnamon
- Bit 1 of lemon zest
