Chinese rhubarb
Instructions
Crushed the rhubarb and put it in a jar with alcohol and 20 g of water and allow it to soak for about ten days.
After this period, sciroppare in a saucepan with the sugar and remaining water and add it to the rest.
Mix, let stand half a day, filtered and bottled.
The renowned rhubarb should not be missing in any house where you cares about your health.
Its preparation does not provide for the use of many spices: often the most effective medicinal liqueurs are the simplest ones.
Use this liquor for the appetite (the Middle shot before meals), in difficult digestions (a short one hour after meals), jaundice (means abundant glass before meals), like detoxifying and purifying (half DRAM abundant in the morning for 15 days).
We recommend a rhubarb care twice a year: in spring and autumn.
Not recommended for use in pregnant women, nursing mothers, patients with gallstones, gout, rheumatism and varicose veins.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 200 g of neutral alcohol to 96 degrees
- 250 g of water
- 550 g of sugar
- 20 g of dried and peeled rhizome rhubarb
