Brown rice with artichokes
Instructions
Peel and mince the shallots.
Remove toughest leaves of artichokes, remove the plugs, cut them in two and remove the hay.
Then slice them up pretty thin.
Wash and cut the onions into thin slices.
Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a saucepan and sauté the shallots sweet flame.
Add the artichokes and onions by mixing for a few minutes to relish.
Wet with some wine, let evaporate, add the rice and mix thoroughly with artichokes.
Immediately after add the boiling broth, put the lid on and cook for 50 minutes at moderate flame.
Remove from heat, add the rice a little raw oil and powdered herbs.
Mix, let stand a few minutes and then serve by adding, as desired, a ground pepper.
