Hazelnut and ginger cookies
Instructions
Typical Christmas biscuits.
Assemble the eggs with sugar.
Sift the flour with 2 tsp of powdered ginger, a pinch of yeast, hazelnuts and a pinch of salt.
Pour in the dry ingredients, add the egg mixture and sugar and softened butter into pieces.
Knead with your hands and leave to stand in the cold of the fridge for less than half an hour.
Roll out with a rolling pin to a height of slightly less than 1 cm, make desired shapes and place on a baking plate.
Bake at 180 degrees for about 15-20 minutes.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 400 g of flour
- 200 g of sugar
- 200 g of butter
- 50 g of extremely fine chopped hazelnuts
- 2 eggs
- 1 pinch of baking powder for cakes
- 2 teaspoons of powdered ginger
- 1 pinch of salt
