Pope's salami of eugenia
Instructions
In 1700 the Pope was at the Court of Montferrat then rather poor so was prepared this dessert.
Mix the wet and wring cakes with butter, cocoa, egg yolks, sugar, rum, marsala.
Mix well and pull it on the desk giving it the shape of salami.
Wrap it in foil and put it in the refrigerator 3 hours.
Serve sliced with moscato zabaglione cream or sweet.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 200 g of galettes
- 120 g of sugar
- 120 g of butter
- 60 g of bitter cocoa
- 2 egg yolks
- 2 cups of rum
- 1 tablespoon of marsala wine
