Rice pudding with meatballs
Instructions
In a pan put butter, oil, basil, parsley, celery, Rosemary, Sage and chopped carrot.
Cook until the vegetables are wilted, add the white wine and then the rice.
Occasionally diluted with water and then add a pinch of Saffron.
Remove from heat and put rice in a knob of butter and 2 tablespoons Parmesan cheese.
Mix well and pour into a mold with the hole.
Simmer while you prepare the meatballs.
Mix the meat with chopped herbs, the egg, salt, pepper and some butter nuts.
Form balls, put them in bread crumbs and FRY in butter.
Baked rice and serve with in the Center and around the meat balls.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 400 g of rice
- 50 g of butter
- Saffron
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- Basil
- Parsley
- Celery
- Rosemary
- Sage
- 1 carrot
- 1 glass white wine
- 2 tablespoons of parmigiano
- For the meatballs:
- 300 g of minced meat
- Basil
- 1 onion
- Garlic
- Sage
- Marjoram
- 1 egg
- Breadcrumbs
- Butter
- Salt
- Pepper
