Tom kha gai
Instructions
Put to boil the chicken broth along with the lemon-grass, lime peels and the shallot.
Add the chicken and continue to boil the whole thing pouring coconut milk, fish sauce and lemon juice.
When cooked (set with cooking the chicken) let boil again for three minutes.
Possibly add whole chilies.
Serve garnished with cilantro.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 200 g of chicken cut into pieces
- 1 stalk of lemon-grass (or lemongrass or lemon)
- 2 lime peels
- 3 stalks of shallots
- 5 spicy chilies (optional)
- 1 tablespoon of lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon of fish broth (optional)
- 1 cup of coconut milk
- 1 stalk of coriander
- 1/2 cup 1 of chicken soup
