Almond Cake (Torta Alle Mandorle)
Instructions
Prepare the pastry.
Prepare the almond paste and finely chopping the almonds and mixing them with an egg.
When the mixture is smooth, add the icing sugar, the butter, the other eggs and rum.
Grease a cake tin put in half of the puff pastry and garnished with almond paste.
With the rest of puff pastry cake cover.
Bake for 30 minutes, and when the cake is golden brown and puffed up remove from oven.

- 200 g of butter
- For the almond paste:
- 50 g of peeled almonds
- 50 g of butter
- 50 g of icing sugar
- 3 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of rum
