French rabbit stew
Instructions
Chopped tiny rabbit, flour the pieces and fry them with oil and butter.
In the same oil, Saute chopped onions and mushrooms and minced.
Now the other chopped vegetables.
Place at the bottom of a baking dish of cabbage leaves, well washed, add rabbit pieces, cover with onions and mushrooms with their cooking juice.
Cover with chopped raw vegetables and supplemented with wine and cognac, closing the whole thing with cabbage leaves.
Cover with the lid on the Pan and cook at low heat in the oven for two hours.
