Hazelnut bread and dried figs
Instructions
Cut plate some nuts, chop remaining ones and dried figs roughly, put them in a bowl, sprinkle with baking soda, irrorarli with water brought to a boil and let it cool.
Put in a mixing bowl the butter, softened at room temperature and divided into small pieces, add the sugar and stir with a wooden spoon until the mixture is frothy and white; Add the egg, salt, chopped hazelnuts, figs with water, baking soda, and finally the flour sifted with baking powder.
Mix ingredients and pour the mixture into a mold from plum-cake, buttered and floured; Sprinkle with hazelnuts and cook in preheated oven at 180 degrees for 50 minutes.

- 250 g of flour
- 100 g of hazelnuts slightly roasted, peeled
- 200 g of dried figs
- 100 g of sugar
- 50 g of butter
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon of baking
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 25 cl of water
- 1 pinch of salt
