Peas and scallions

05440 PEAS and scallions CREAM INGREDIENTS for 4 PEOPLE 400 g of fresh or frozen peas, 200 g of very small onions, 200 g cooking cream, 70 grams of Grana Padano cheese, one tablespoon of vinegar, one tablespoon of sugar, salt and pepper.
Peel the onions eliminating? shirt? more outside.
Cook the onions with peas in 1/2 litre of boiling salted water for 15 minutes.
Expired time withdrawn from heat, drain the vegetables and put them under cold water and keep them aside.
In a saucepan pour the cream, salt, pepper, vinegar and sugar; put on the fire and let it warm up for a few minutes, stirring well.
Add the peas and scallions kept aside and the grated Grana Padano cheese and stir well.
Serve immediately.
This recipe can be a great side dish for Braised meats or a tantalizing filling for vol au vent served hot as an appetizer.
