Red onions stuffed
Instructions
with INGREDIENTS for 4 PEOPLE 2 red onions, a can of white beans, 50 g extra virgin olive oil, 50 g of vegetable oil, 3 sprigs of thyme, a clove of garlic, a little chilli, salt and pepper.
Clean the onions and put them to soak in warm water for 10 minutes.
In a saucepan heat the oil and sauté the garlic, sprigs of thyme and pepper; Add the beans, drained by the preservation liquid and rinsed, flavour, salt and pepper.
Pour the broth and cook for 15 minutes; When cooked remove thyme, blend beans and keep aside.
Cut the onions in half, gently separate the layers and fill with the mixture, garnish with a sprig of thyme and place the? boats? the trash for steaming, Cook for 20 minutes.
