Baked Anchovies (Alici al Forno)
Instructions
Clean the anchovies, remove the head and spine.
Chop garlic and parsley, add a little oregano, breadcrumbs, salt and pepper.
Grease with oil a baking dish, sprinkle the bottom with a bit of chopped cooked, sprinkle over half the anchovies with the ' stomach ' pointing upwards.
Sprinkle with the remaining chopped, make a second layer of anchovies, this time to ' belly ' below.
Lemon juice emulsified with oil and pour it flush on the fish.
Bake at 200 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
Remove when the anchovies are browned.

- 600 g of fresh anchovies
- 2 cloves of garlic
- 3 tablespoons of olive oil
- 1 lemon
- 1 sprig of parsley
- 40 g of breadcrumbs
- Oregano
- Salt
- Pepper
