Let thaw and artichokes, keeping them on the side of the stem, crush them lightly on the table so that the leaves open a bit.
Put plenty of oil in the pan for frying, heat it and add the artichokes, causing them to fry evenly until the tips are well browned.
Serve hot artichoke, sprinkled with salt and pepper.
