Fried artichokes (8)
Instructions
In a bowl, pour the egg, 2 tablespoons oil, 1 flour, salt and pepper.
Whisk well to blend.
Clean the artichokes by removing the outer leaves, cutting tips and hard parts.
Let them soak for a few minutes in water acidulated with lemon juice.
Divide them into wedges and put them in the bowl, stirring well.
Put on the heat a pan with plenty of hot oil and pour the artichoke pieces, making a single layer.
Get them browned, turn them over and, when they are fried, drain, Pat dry on paper towels and serve hot.
