Instructions
Knead the flour with a little cold water.
Knead the dough until it is thus obtained matta.
Roll out the dough: that will be the case.
Coated with it a well buttered springform, with a diameter of about 20-22 cm.
Pass then in the oven at 180 degrees and cook for 20 minutes.
Meanwhile, pour the milk in a small saucepan, add half of the sugar and the vanilla bean cut in half lengthwise.
Put to fire and bring to a boil; put in a bowl the eggs, egg yolks and remaining sugar, mix them briefly with a whisk then add the boiling milk poured and poured.
Baked pasta container, fill it with the mixture of eggs and milk, and then pass it back in the oven at the same temperature, for another 40 minutes.
Baked and served with cold cream, into his pasta container.
NB.
The proposed casatello is simplified compared to Artusi's recipe that involves preparation and cooking time much longer.
