Cherries in red wine
Instructions
Wash the cherries, stone them, put them in a saucepan, combine sugar, lemon peel, cut into strips, cinnamon, black currant jelly and wine just enough to cover fruit flush.
Bring to a boil, Cook for 10 minutes, let stand, pour into a bowl and serve cold.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 1000 g of cherries
- 300 g of sugar
- 1 lemon
- 1 bit of cinnamon stick
- 10 cl of currant jelly
- Red wine
