Raisin onions
Instructions
Rinse the raisins.
Peel the onions by removing the stems.
Put onions and raisins in a saucepan with the wine, sugar, tomato, passes the oil, vinegar and 15 cl of water.
Add salt, pepper, add a pinch of hot pepper.
Bring to the boil, reduce the heat and simmer for 15 minutes over low heat.
When the onions are tender pour into a serving dish, let cool and let them marinate for two hours in the refrigerator.
Sprinkle parsley and serve very cold.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 2 bunches of fresh onions
- 100 g of sultanas
- 15 cl of dry white wine
- 2 tablespoons of sugar
- 3 tablespoons of tomato paste
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 tablespoons of wine vinegar
- Chili powder
- Salt
- Pepper
- To serve:
- 1 tablespoon of chopped parsley
