Pickled onions
Instructions
Boiling for 2 minutes the onions in water with a few tablespoons of vinegar.
Peel them and let them dry on a towel.
Boil vinegar with sugar.
Put the onions in the pot, pour the vinegar and add a few grains of pepper.
If you wish, you can add some bay leaf during boiling, or even directly in the vessels.
It rest then it a couple of weeks.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 2000 g of scallions
- 200 cl of wine vinegar
- Peppercorns
- 100 g of sugar
