English Fruit cream
Instructions
Wash and cut pears and apples into pieces without removing or peel, or core; clean, wash and shell the grapes and currants, reel off cherries, put everything in a saucepan with water and let it simmer until the pulp of apples and pears will be tender.
Pass all through a sieve and put the past in 1 saucepan, combine the sugar, melted butter, egg yolks and cream, stirring.
Put on the fire and let it thicken the cream.
Serve it cold.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 500 G = = Mixed Fruit (pears, apples, currants, grapes, cherries)
- 200 g of sugar
- 250 g of cream
- 3 egg yolks
- 60 g of melted butter
- 1 glass of water
