The ' egg nogs are drinks, hot or cold, made with milk and eggs in conjunction with alcohol.
Put the ice in small pieces along with all the other ingredients in a shaker and shake strongly.
Filtered by a tall tumbler and serve dusted with nutmeg.
The alcoholic ingredient, in this case the rum, is mitigated by the milk and the cream.
