Spice figs
Instructions
Put in a saucepan with water 100 cl sugar, orange peels and all spices and boil for 10 minutes.
Soak the figs in syrup and let them without making them boil, on fire, for 5 minutes.
Drain the figs, place them on the serving plate and keep aside.
Reduce by half without syrup boil and when it's cold, having passed in a strainer, pour over figs.
Use orange peels to decorate the figs.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 12 ripe figs
- 200 g of sugar
- 2 oranges (grated)
- 1 stick of cinnamon
- 16 grains of coriander
- 10 grains of pepper
- 4 cloves
- 2 cm of julienned fresh ginger
- 2 pinches of spices (cinnamon, coriander, pepper)
