Coarsely chop nuts and roast in a hot oven at 180 degrees for about 7 minutes.
Remove the meat from the oven to cool.
Peel the cabbage, wash, dry and slice it finely.
Even slicing apples, peeled and carrots.
Mix carrots, cabbage, apples and walnuts in a bowl.
Prepare a sauce emulsifying a handful of poppy seeds with a pinch of salt and oil, pour it over the salad and serve.
