Leek and potato soup
Instructions
As soon as the water is boiling, add salt, add the vegetables and boil, covered, until the potatoes begin to fall apart, or mashing with a potato wooden spoon against the edge of the saucepan this discards without offering resistance (typically 15-20 minutes depending on the potatoes).
Incorporate the butter.
Serve hot.
Suggested wine a red light.
If you like can use croutons.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- 500 g of potatoes cut into 4 and thin slice
- 500 g of leeks without the green hard and sliced
- 200 cl of boiling water
- Salt
- 30 g of butter
