Veal shanks braised in red wine
Instructions
Lightly flour the Veal Shanks, then FRY them in a skillet, over high heat, in hot oil.
Transfer to a baking sheet with their cooking, add the celery, carrot, onion, cut into chunks, mushrooms in segments, wine, a pinch of salt and a few peppercorns.
Passed in the oven at 200 degrees for 50 minutes.
When cooked, transfer the Veal Shanks with their flavorful sauce in a serving bowl and serve, if desired, accompanied with a soft mashed potatoes.

- 6 veal veal shanks
- 300 g of robust red wine
- 150 g of onion
- 150 g of mushrooms
- 100 g of carrot
- 80 g of celery
- 2 tablespoons of flour
- 4 tablespoons of olive oil
- Salt
- Peppercorns
