Pappa al pomodoro
Instructions
Sauté the chopped Leek in oil without browned.
Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 15 minutes.
Pour 1 l of hot broth and let simmer for 10 minutes.
Adjust salt, pepper and add the chopped Basil.
Combine the bread cut into thin slices and cook for 10 minutes.
Turn it off, let it sit for 20 minutes, whisking vigorously with a whisk.
Serve the soup with olive oil and pepper.

- 400 g of stale bread
- 1 sprig of basil
- 1 leek
- 3/4 cup of olive oil
- 400 g of peeled tomatoes
- 100 cl of broth
- Salt
- Pepper
