Pappa al pomodoro (3)
Instructions
Put in a pot tomatoes peeled, deprived of the seeds and cut into large pieces, a stick of celery, chopped clove of garlic, a pinch of black pepper, a tablespoon of olive oil, salt and two ladles of water per person.
Bring to a boil, then simmer for about an hour.
Turn off and let it sit.
Half an hour before going to the table turn back the fire, cut into small dices stale bread for a day or two, calculating half slice per person.
Put it in the pot and simmer over low heat.
Serve the soup sprinkled with chopped basil, and grated cheese.

- 300 g of ripe tomatoes
- 1 clove of garlic
- Basil
- 1 costa of celery
- Grated cheese
- Stale tuscan bread
- Olive oil
- Salt
- 1 pinch of black pepper
