Vegetarian puff pastry
Instructions
Working briefly the flour with oil, salt and cold water just enough to mix the ingredients well.
To knead you don't use your hands but use a wooden spoon.
This is to prevent the flour gluten hardens, and the dough is too compact.
Roll out the dough with the rolling pin to form a thin layer and put it in the greased baking oil, making the edges high enough because it will have to enclose the filling.
Stamped the dough with a fork and put it in the oven on low heat for about 15 minutes.
Put over a filling of your choice (if it is salty, as in the case of vegetables, they must be already cooked) and put it back in the oven to finish cooking.
Variations: If you use the pastry to prepare a cake, knead it with natural Apple juice in place of water.

- 2 cups of wholemeal flour
- 1/2 cup of corn germ oil
- Cold water
- Sea salt
