Sambal sauce
Instructions
The doses are for 25 cl of salsa.
Melt the butter in a pan, add the onions, garlic, chili powder, turmeric, ginger and cumin.
Simmer for about 10 minutes at moderate heat, stirring continuously with a wooden spoon.
Spread the batter into 2 bowls, adding in a cucumbers and tomatoes.
Stir and let stand for 1 hour before serving.
The quantities of spices can be reduced, but remembering that this Indian sauce must be very spicy.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 50 g of butter
- 2 small finely chopped onions
- 1 clove of chopped garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon of red powder peperencino
- 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of turmeric powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of powdered cumin seeds
- 2 thinly sliced cucumbers
- 2 tomatoes sliced thinly
