Amaretto cake
Instructions
Pave the dough in square shape and line a round mold, leaving out the corners of the dough.
Whip sugar and honey with the eggs and add the egg yolks one at a time.
Sift the flour, starch baking powder and powdered almonds and, when the egg mixture is installed, add the liqueur, flour and melted butter.
Coat bottom of pan with custard, put onto half of the amaretti, fill with the prepared dough and finish with amaretti crumbs.
Close the four edges of the puff pastry without join, sprinkle with icing sugar and bake at 180 degrees for 45 minutes.
When it is cooked, the central part must not relent.
Ingredients and dosing for 4 persons
- 5 egg yolks
- 2 eggs
- 120 g of sugar
- 20 g of honey
- 60 g of flour
- 100 g of potato starch
- 20 g of butter
- 20 g of almonds
- 40 g of crushed amaretti biscuits
- 20 g of amaretto
- 4 tablespoons of custard
- Puff pastry
- 5 g of yeast
- Icing sugar
