Andalusian cake
Instructions
In a large bowl mix the egg yolk, sugar, flour and butter.
Work the dough until it becomes a sandy aspect.
Add water and grated orange peel, even make the dough and let it rest.
Meanwhile Cook the apples with the sugar until it becomes a compact set.
Roll out the dough on a baking sheet and put in the oven for 10 minutes.
Now add the cooked fruit on dough and put in the oven for 10-15 minutes, until the pastry is golden and the fruit.
Let cool, Peel the oranges, cut into thin rounds and arrange them on the cake.
Boil for a few minutes the apricot jam with lemon juice and water; then pour on the cake.
Ingredients and dosing for 6 persons
- For the dough:
- 1 egg yolk
- 60 g of sugar
- 125 g of butter
- 2 tablespoons of water
- 1 teaspoon of grated orange
- For the cooked fruit:
- 500 g of apples
- 75 g of sugar
- For the garnish:
- 2 oranges
- 3 tablespoons of apricots
- 1/2 lemon
