Northern stew
Instructions
Cut into cubes 250 g Bacon and FRY in 20 g of butter.
Add 2 sliced onions 500 g apples, peeled and cut into 4 pieces, 1 chopped red cabbage, thinly sliced.
Water with 50 cl of red wine and cook 5 minutes over low heat.
Pepper and add 13 juniper berries.
Cover and simmer for 1 hour and 1/2.
Join 800 g of smoked sausage and continue cooking for 30 minutes.
Serve hot.
