Literally "death in the afternoon".
Is the title of a short story by Heminguay.
It seems that this cocktail was much loved by Heminguay during his stay in Paris in the 20 's.
Easy to run, it prepares pouring into a flute 4 1/2 cl Perdnod, then filled with 12 cl Champagne very dry and very cold.
It is excellent as an aperitif.
