2_18148 HAZELNUT CAKE INGREDIENTS for 4 PEOPLE 150 g of hazelnuts, 125 g sugar, 4 eggs, 2 tablespoons of cornstarch, 3 tablespoons of rum, a frosted sugar spoon, butter to grease the mold, a sachet of baking powder.
Chop the hazelnuts until polverizzarle, keeping aside a dozen for the final decoration.
In a bowl, mix the sugar and the yolks, add the hazelnuts, rum, cornstarch and baking powder.
Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt and blend slowly to the mixture, stirring with a wooden spatula.
Cake mould lined with aluminum foil and imburratela.
Then pour the mixture into the prepared mold and put in the oven, pre-heated at 170° for 40 minutes.
Let cool, put the cake and sprinkle with icing sugar and hazelnuts kept aside.
