Instructions

INGREDIENTS for 4 PEOPLE 80 g 80 g dried figs, prunes, apricots, 80 g 70 g of dried pears, 50 g sugar, ó l of dry red wine, 2 cinnamon sticks 2 cloves, 1 lemon zest, 3 tablespoons orange liqueur, vanilla ice cream.

PROCEDURE wash the fruit, then put it in a terrinetta and cover with wine and a little water, then grind for about 4 hours stirring occasionally.

After the maceration time fruit flows pouring the liquid into a saucepan.

Cut the fruit into small pieces and pour into saucepan.

Add the lemon peel, cinnamon, cloves, sugar and, if needed, more water to cover the fruit.

Place over heat and bring to a boil, lower the heat and simmer for about 15 minutes in covered container.

After cooking let cool and pour the fruit with its syrup into a bowl and refrigerate.

Serve in cups Compote topped each with a spoonful of ice cream.
