Marinated Anchovies (Alici Marinate)
Instructions
Clean the anchovies, privatel plugs and wash them thoroughly under running water, then place in an oven dish high edges.
Peel the onion and fennel and mince finely.
Mix in a casserole the water, wine, salt, chopped vegetables, vinegar, olive oil, bay leaf, peppercorns, Juniper, thyme, parsley and garlic, bring everything to the boil and simmer on low heat until vegetables are tender.

Let cool, then let marinate the anchovies in the refrigerator for 12 hours before serving.
