Valentine cake with cream and strawberries
Instructions
It is a sponge soaked with water and Spain limoncello, then stuffed with whipped cream and strawberries. Heat the oven to 170°. Butter and flours a pan of 20 cm in diameter. Mix eggs and sugar with electric mixer and get a frothy mixture. Combine sifted flour, vanilla and melted butter, stirring gently. If you want a softer Spain loaf, you can mount the egg whites until foamy.
Pour everything into a heart-shaped cake pan and bake for 30 minutes. When the surface is golden brown and puffed, bakes the cake and cool on a rack. Mount the cream with a teaspoon of powdered sugar, cut the cake into 2 parts and bathes with water and lemon. Farcisci with cream and some strawberries, then cover.
